My Style

I begin my oil paintings with a colorful under painting followed by color blocking of the main shapes.  I work layer by layer with each progressively becoming more defined.  Some areas remain loose and soft while others are filled with detail and refinement.  Watercolor paintings begin with a pencil drawing.  Then I build up transparent layers of watercolors to create depth and keep luminosity.  I reserve the right to make some artistic changes to create the right balance and harmony in the painting.  This may include removing shrubbery, adding an extra accent flower or moving a cloud.  

Each painting is unique and I do not stop until I am satisfied that it works together as a whole.  My painting style is a mix between traditional and impressionistic.  I love painting custom pieces that have special meaning for the collector.  I stay in touch with you during the painting process.

Arrange Pickup:  Prices are for pick up gallery840.  But we woud be glad to ship to you for an additional fee.  Quotes provided at time of order.
