Participate in gallery840's "Creatures Great and Small" 2024 Exhibit

WHO:  Open to all artists in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding counties.

WHAT:   2D artwork depicting creatures in our natural world. Artwork should be original art in any 2D medium (except photography) and completed in the past 5 years.  From the submissions gallery840 will select approximately 30-40 pieces to fit in the gallery space.  

WHERE: Initial submission is online.  Accepted work will then be delivered in person to gallery840.

WHEN: Submit artwork online from Feb 26th- March 21, 2024. You will be notified by email by March 27th if your has been accepted. Accepted artwork should be dropped off at gallery840 on April 4th or April 6th 12-4pm.  Exhibit will run from April 18th — June 20th

OPENING RECEPTION: April 18th 5-7pm.

COMMUNITY CHOICE AWARD: Awarded at the close of the exhibit to the voted community favorite.  

ENTRY FEE:  $15  for 1st submission. $5 for each additional submissions. Max - 3 entries per artist. Payable HERE.

SUBMISSION STEPS:

1.  Pay Entry Fee HERE   ($15 for 1, $15+5 for 2 submissions, $15+5+5 for 3 submissions)

2.  Complete the GOOGLE FORM  (preferred)   NEW: SUBMIT A SEPARATE GOOGLE FORM FOR EACH ART PIECE 

OR email kristind@gallery840.net with the following information in the body of an email.

• Your information

  • Full Name, Address, Phone number, Email, Social Media handles

• Your artwork (for each entry)

  • Title

  • unframed dimensions- stated as l x h  

  • medium

  • price 

3.  Send Photos to kristind@gallery840.net - Images should be 1-3 MB, clear, straight, and cropped to the edge of the painting.   

• Photo file must be labeled as follows:       Artist Name_Artwork Title_Size

• application will not be accepted of these steps are not followed

• accepted artwork should be framed and wired for hanging.  Sawtooth hangers are not permitted.  Gallery wrapped canvases are permitted as longs as the sides are painted. 
  
  

4.  Read all details above  By submitting your images you agree to the terms above and a 40% commission to gallery840 for the sales of your artwork while on display at gallery840 and for any sales by the gallery for 30 days after the exhibit.
